A little bit about Tomoko….

Tomoko has been a florist since 1989. She started Tomobi Floral Art, a high-end floral design business, in San Francisco, California 2002. Tomoko earned her degree in floral arrangement from Hibiya Flower Academy in Tokyo, Japan, where she is from. She studied European, High Style, Ikebana, and Ohararyu floral design. Her work has refined both Japanese and Western styles and she continues to develop her unique style.

In 1998, while still living in Tokyo, Tomoko was sponsored by a floral company in the United States and moved to San Francisco. Soon after she was hired as principle designer and manager for another floral company. In 2002 she started her own business and has created original floral designs for weddings, parties, hotels, restaurants at a variety of special events in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
