Kent Jolly is an artist and sound designer living in Berkeley California. Kent received his BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1994, and his MFA from Mills College in 1996. He works professionally in the games industry as a audio director and game designer. His photos reflect a fascination with symmetry and its ability to suggest new lifeforms, as well as abstracting the subject. The mirroring process (once difficult to create in the age of film based photography) is now almost trivial,, but the output still interests him. The process creates a drone like resonance that Kent works to both embrace and break away from.

He is a member of the San Francisco Tape Music Collective, has worked with Brian Eno (Spore, Audio Palette) and has recently begun working in photography again after a long hiatus.
