Join legendary tea master Kanako Nishimura for a ceremony that dates back to 9th century Japan. Learn the art of matcha as a practice of mindfulness that brings us into the present moment and as a shared experience of harmony.
Kanako wil introduce the art of Japanese Tea Ceremony in a casual setting. As a participant, you can enjoy the Japanese Art of premium teas and freshly made seasonal sweets in this ceremony.
Two ceremonies will be hosted. Each one is about 1 1/4 hours long.
It is the Autumnal (Harvest Moon) custom in Japan in September to have “Tsukimi no Kai” or “Moon Viewing Tea”.
