Special Storytelling Tour hosted by Arthur Kay at 7 pm
Abrams Claghorn is pleased to host a show inspired by pop culture and storytelling. Local artists and curators, Tina Banda and Raven Ebner/Corviid, have brought together an exciting group of artists and writers to create the Night Gallery Art Show. The initial idea for this exhibit was inspired by Rod Serling’s television show of the same name, which aired during the 1970s. More than just a tribute show, this exhibit will feature artwork based on stories written by the participating artists and collaborating writers in addition to taking inspiration from literary sources and episodes from the Night Gallery show itself.
In keeping with the narrative based theme, participating artists Tina Banda, Raven Ebner and Robert Daulton will act as hosts/hostesses and share related stories about the artwork during the course of the reception. At 7 pm, Arthur Kay, from Odd Salon, will lead a tour through the exhibit, entertaining guests with his own dramatic style of dark storytelling. Special guest vendors will also be present during the reception on the gift store side selling handmade creations that include Gothic styled jewelry, Victorian era figurines, books, zines and elegant paper flowers and plants.
