Pamela Brody has always loved color and geometric designs. In 2007, during the building of her house in Bend, Oregon, she found herself incorporating colored glass everywhere possible, and realized that she needed to find a creative outlet for her passion for glass. Shortly thereafter, she learned how to make fused glass, and ultimately set up a studio in her home.

Pamela’s background is in engineering, which she believes explains why she is drawn to geometric patterns and the precision of making fused glass plates. She also enjoys the spontaneity of fused glass – she is often surprised by what she ends up creating and is thrilled to open the kiln at the end of the process.
Pamela lives in Bend with her husband and two teenage daughters. She works full time developing environmental leadership standards for the electronics industry.
