Rosalind Diaz lives in Albany, where she explores texture, color, and geometry through folded paper and clay.

Each pair of earrings showcases a three-dimensional geometric shape–tetrahedrons, octahedrons, icosahedrons, or cubes–made from folded paper. They are treated with a matte lacquer, which helps make the earrings sturdy and water-resistant (not waterproof) while preserving the texture of the paper.

Media: origami paper, acrylic paints, lacquer, silver-plated wire, glass and wood accent beads, sterling silver ear wire.
